I entirely disagree with the epigraph.
As do I, but it’s still a rather good poem, and still a reminder of what can be lost when abstraction is attempted in a haphazard way.
One needs to have the highest level of discernment.
The truth is some people err because they are overly prone to abstraction while others err because they always want to be “practical.”
Both lead to error, only in different ways.
